What from many respects was a period of failures and problems
It started with my 3rd Pilgrimage, which I abruptly cancelled after just 2 days
(maybe these pilgrimages are a bad idea)
There was a problem at work
There was a problem with my residence
There was a problem with a parent
There was even a problem at the church
It was crushing, the world was coming down on me

And then I addressed items, one-by-one
And in each case, arrived not only at a solution, but an improvement
A better agreement and understanding at work
An appreciation for my employer and resolution of what retirement means to me
A better (and exciting) living space for the next 10 years
A working relationship and understanding of how the church works, and my place in it
Help from God
Help from Family as it involves health problems with a parent
