Our friend Jerry Frye had an oversized drafting table – standing desk,- work station which he referred to as his Genius Table. Here he programmed, solved problems, developed ideas and did some serious thinking.
In his honor and also just stealing a good idea, we have always favored a high spacious work space. Combining smaller tables, using industrial grade work benches with thick maple tops and a large dining room table set up on blocks. Pairing this with a high stool lifts you and your thoughts to a higher level.
