I am such a fan of the BBC, it is just so good
(it is what NPR aspires to be)
I listen especially to the Radio Programs, where I appreciate the theater of the mind
I also have Favorite NPR Programs
No commercials, interesting accents and grammar and choice of words
(kind of exotic to an American in a “fly-over state”)
Informative but never too cute
An objective approach
I admire when they provide solid commentary on USA new and events
Weekend
The Arts Hour
World Book Club
Hard Talk
The History Hour
The Compass (especially a recent series how our feet, hand and face have changed due to our current lifestyles)
50 Things that made the modern economy
(geeky things developed during my lifetime such as the electronic spreadsheet)
