Some days, I don’t make it out, do nothing
It usually starts with missing an early morning run (or sleeping through the alarm)
And then it “snowballs”
I am not worried about my inactivity, or taking 10,000 steps
If the garbage is not taken out, if the teeth aren’t brushed, so-be-it
But the next day, I will use this as motivation
Maybe the next day, I will complete a very long run
(because now it is over-due and more important, more critical)
How detrimental is this, and in what ways?
Or, it is a well earned and necessary break
(my recent experience and philosophy, is that more injuries occur from inactivity, rather than overacticivy)
