Like the inhabitants of the lot on which I live – shoveling after a snow is something to avoid (and escape at all costs)
Lately, I have perceived a different experience
Although, on the perfect day, after a heavy snowfall, when I can get out before the snow freezes hard
Then shoveling the yard is the most substantial accomplishments that I can achieve
It is an extraordinary realization
(although it requires clearing the hurdle of expecting other inhabitants to share this task)
Once you mind your own business and not place unrealistic expectation on others, then you can appreciate the accomplishment of Shoveling the Driveway (and enjoy it all day)
