The Gospels

Matthew, Mark and Luke (Synopic Gospels)
Where Matthew and Luke appear composed with parts of Mark
(and are to Jewish audience, familiar with Jewish tradition, referring to Jesus as Messiah)
John is set apart, contains no parables
(written to Gentile audience, and has to explain elements of Jewish Tradition, refer to Jesus as Son of God)
Ref: Wonderium, The History and Archaeology of the Bible, Chapter 18

Although I have recently discovered that maybe LUKE is the Gentile
(see Feast of St Luke Homilies)
