Keep Pedaling, don’t stop, don’t quit, don’t complain
Comes from Homily about riding a Tandem Bike with God (or Jesus)
When I am riding in front, it is great, I can steer the bike wherever I choose
Until God switches seats with me – now he is in front (and I don’t like this so much)
I tell him that I would rather steer somewhere else, or go faster (or go slower)
I want to sit in front and be in control!
And God says: “Just Keep Pedaling”
Which I can relate to: when I keep pedaling, things go very well
(when I have a choice and hear an inner-voice suggesting that I quit, or complain or criticize or stay put) – I lose
I’m learning to shut up and pedal
